Flags of Peace is an ongoing project initiated by Trapped in Suburbia to try and establish a universal peace flag. The project aims to gather a flag design from every nation in the world. Through contributions from both established and young talented designers it creates a visual dialogue around peace and its symbolism. Together the flags present a global spectrum of ideas on peace, each highlighting particular relationships and views towards the topic.

The list of invited participating designers includes legendary international names, such as Bond (Finland), Eike Konig (Germany), Beetroot (Greece) Milton Glaser (USA), Wim Crouwel (Netherlands), Tarek Atrissi (Lebanon), Hey Studio (Spain) and many others.

Baklazanas Studio was invited to participate in the Flags of Peace project representing Lithuania.

About our design:
The name of our design proposal for a flag is Harmonia mundi.

"Where words fail, music speaks." (Hans Christian Andersen)
Music is a universal language understood by everyone. Transcending all cultural and social boundaries, music connects and speaks to us beyond the constraints of language, age, race or any differences. Communication is crucial for understanding, and understanding is the prerequisite for peace.
